Here are some quick numbers from IMAZ before I get a full-on report posted:
Swim: 58:23 (4+ minute IM swim PR)
Bike: 4:59 (including 13+ minutes twiddling my thumbs on the side of the road in need of a full front wheel replacement as a result of a tube explosion that tore a hole in the sidewall of the tire which led to riding on carbon for a couple hundred feet before nearly biting it going through the rumble strips on the shoulder that took some chunks out of my front wheel). Rode 224w, which was 23w less than Kona.
Run: 3:00.40 (2+ minute IM marathon PR & fastest amateur run split)
This was good enough for 3rd in the M35-39AG and a sixth straight Kona slot.
Very happy with the result especially considering Kona was only 5 weeks ago and I had been coming down with a nasty cough in the days prior to the race.
Will hopefully get a report up within the next couple of days.
