2013 Athlete Sponsorship Program

Throughout the course of our lives, we usually encounter people who help us in our endeavors that help us reach goals and dreams that otherwise might not have been possible without their involvement. These people might be friends, family members, coaches, co-workers or even complete strangers.

I have been fortunate enough to have had several people in my life that have helped me in unimaginable ways to experience the things that I have within the sport of triathlon.

It is with this in mind, that I present the first of several new programs that are in the framework over the next several years as Dark Horse Multisport Coaching evolves into a full-service coaching operation.

Starting today, applications will be accepted for an athlete to fill one of our last remaining spots for coaching for the 2013 season. The selected athlete will receive a year of free coaching. Applications will be accepted for the next two weeks, through December 16. 

This will be an ongoing program from year to year where at least one athlete will be "sponsored". 

How will this athlete be chosen? Well, that's a good question. This is why I invite you to apply. You just have to tell me in your application why you feel you should be chosen. You might be someone who can't otherwise afford a one-on-one coaching arrangement. You could be an up-and-coming athlete that needs a little guidance to get you over the hump. You name it, all applications will be read and taken into consideration. All ability levels are invited to apply.

*Name
*Current city & state

*2013 Race Schedule (and beyond!)

*Triathlon/multisport/endurance sport resume
*Current involvement within your local triathlon/multisport/endurance sport community.

*Why should YOU be chosen for free coaching for a full year. Feel free to be creative and even send me a video application.

*Contact information (phone, email, twitter, facebook, blog - all that good stuff).
